Val Starr & The Blues Rocket (John Sandwich)
Val Starr & The Blues Rocket is a Sacramento based Contemporary California Blues band, writing original blues songs, and covering some of the great blues songwriters. Val Starr and the Blues Rocket was a finalist in the 2012 International Blues Challenge local competition, recorded their first CD "Cool Ride" at the Sandwich Factory Studios in Antelope, CA and will be recording their second CD "Blues Away" beginning of 2013. The band was featured twice on Windows Media Guide home page on the internet, and will be shopping a distribution deal in the near future.
