Yolo Mambo

Yolo Mambo is a local band playing world Latin and multicutural music. The band consists of four players on vocals, Spanish guitar, percussion, and acoustic bass, with singing in Spanish, Portuguese, French, English, and Italian.

The transglobal rhythms of Yolo Mambo will transport you to Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Cape Verde, France, Spain, New Zealand, and the States. Yolo Mambo blends spicy cha-cha, jazz, bossa nova, samba, salsa, and folk with the dynamic vocals of Catherine LeBlanc in languages from all over this Earth. Completing the instrumental and vocal backing are jazz and world music veterans Phil Summers on Spanish guitar, Carla Campbell on percussion, and Steve O’Neill on string bass.

Yolo Mambo has performed at: Robert Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts; Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento; Picnic Day, Davis; Dixon May Fair; and many wineries in Northern CA. We have released two Compact Discs: The Roulette of Romance, which is available at shows, and World Wide, also being distributed on iTunes, CD Baby, and local music stores.

Yolo Mambo is fully self-contained, providing the music, sound, and lights. Performance fees start at $300.
