A local Sacramentan, born in Fargo, North Dakota, an Aries, a mystical believer, an artist writer, a former State Governor appointee, and self-defined wake-up call to human potential, Tracy Saville is a master of falling up. She is a self-proclaimed human re-engineer of organizations, lives, and careers, helping people find higher performance through personal leadership and conscious living. She uses her twenty-five years of diverse experience in advanced leadership and management expertise in the public, profit, and nonprofit sectors to facilitate individual and organizational change. She is T2 Performance Solution’s Co-CEO and resident team empath, possessing highly effective and distinctive abilities in the human behavioral world of intuitive emotional assessment and cognitive awareness. She is a gifted group and individual facilitator and strategic planner, a highly gifted, unique motivational speaker, and cultivator of the elusive human profit stream that comes from transformational experiences of personal and professional growth.
As a writer, she has published poetry and short stories (fiction and non-fiction), has written and published feature film screenplays and science-fiction/horror novels and short stories, and is publishing her first non-fiction book this coming year, FallingUp: Extraordinary Lives for Everyday People – The Human Guide to Living a Best Life, (T2 Publications available online February 15, 2012.) In September 2011 Tracy launched her new publishing company and online magazine, leadingpossibilities – profiling extraordinary people, places, and human experiences set against the art and words of emerging artists and inspiring, though-provoking voices. Part of the new publishing enterprise includes “The Possibility Place”, a new online community offering visitors expert advice on mastering one’s mind, body, spirit, career, family and purpose—all about helping people live their best lives, as well as helping other writers, musicians, artists, and designers find audiences for their work and products/services that inspire. A leader with over twenty-five years of experience as a non-profit executive, a senior manager, a program developer, a human performance advisor, a workforce trainer, English professor, a business developer, a strategic advisor to organizational leaders, and a public policy and public affairs expert. She is married 16 years to business partner Tim Saville, who is also General Manager of General Truss Company and CEO of North State Lumber in California, and has a son, Michael, who is also part of the leadership and publishing company, himself a Zen path follower and life-long student of conscious living.
She describes herself as being committed to seeing Sacramento and other cities realize their cultural potential--where art and culture become the economic drivers of a region--believing that all things art and culture are at the center of any vibrant economy. She also describes herself as a partner, a daughter and sister, an auntie, a neighbor, a life-long student of learning, and is addicted to reading, is a tremendous cook when she wants to be, and lover of wine and sustainable foods. She is also an ardent fan of metal music and classic rock and roll, old school and current hardcore options included.
At 45, she is committed to a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness, adventure travel, and engaging in her local community. Her career spans serving local and state government during two Governor Administrations in California, and she served on the boards and advisory committees of charitable and community-based organizations, such as Capitol Indie Collective, Girls, Inc., Capitol City Young Writers, Flatmancrooked Publishing, the Northern California Reinvestment Consortium, OurEarth.org, and Communities in Schools. She is presently serving as a co-leader of Mayor Kevin Johnson’s For Art’s Sake Initiative Goals 3 (Professional Development) and is a tireless voluntary supporter of local artists and entrepreneurs doing leading edge work that serves others.
She possesses a Masters of Fine Arts, a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in change leadership, and a Certificate in Negotiation from The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. She is also a Member of the American Management Association, the National Association of Professional Women, and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, among many affiliations. She works and plays out of the Sacramento Urban Hive and lives by the river in Carmichael, California, with her two cats, two dogs, wild turkeys, raccoons, deer, and skunks (the latter not her choice).
